She has a few all-time favourite activities, one of which is throwing pine cones over the fence. She loves going "sheitsch" or "sheish", which means "outside", and asks to go out on a regular basis. She has a one-track focus when "sheish" is on the mind, and it can be hard to distract her from this goal!
She loves putting items (toys and household things) into a bag and carrying it around and taking them in and out. She can play at this for a remarkably long time. This very morning she got a ziploc bag out of the pantry (she usually carries around a bag with handles, but for some reason, she's very happy with a ziploc...), and busied herself filling it up.
Annie still likes the computer, but is much less obsessed with banging on it than she used to be. She likes skyping, especially with her cousins!
Here are a few words that she speak, but she'll try to say all kinds of things if you ask her to...
"done"- she says this perfectly with a resounding "nnnnn" on the end.
"Mama"
"out"
"in"
"on"
"draw"
"poop"
"up"
"draw"
"poop"
"up"
"shoe"
"teeth"
"outside"
"hair"
"help"--she tries
"yes"
"duck"
"duck"
"chin"
"down"-which sounds like done
and probably more that I can't remember right now. She says a lot of these words at prompting, and she'll copy more if you ask her.
Well, that's a little update, hopefully pictures to come soon!
