August, September and the beginning of October...

One of the fun things we decided to do for my birthday was drive to Pensacola and spend the day with Josh, Paula, Camilla and Beatrice. We had some amazingly good french toast for breakfast, made out of Paula's homemade challah bread, and Annie had an absolutely fabulous time playing with her cousins!

Annie and Camilla enjoyed playing in a little fort...

The kids had tons of fun playing on/with the water slide. Camilla was the only one who really understood about the sliding, but the littler girls enjoyed it in their own way!

The Gibbses gave me some nice teas...

And my mother in law gave me a new pair of shoes. They are really great!

Tim made me pumpkin pies that were amazingly delicious! He also got me an enameled cast-iron dutch oven , which I have already used multiple times...

On my actual birthday, Tim made me a delicious German-style breakfast, with tasty breads, meats, cheeses and nutella.

Ok, here are some recent pictures...

We've been seeing a surprising number of toads lately...Tim found this fat toad just outside our door!

Annie was pretending to cook graham crackers in her play kitchen and she asked me for an apron...

And here are a couple of pictures of me at 31 weeks 1 day with the twins...

Praise the Lord, I can feel them moving a lot!

And here are some older pictures from our trip to Washington in late August/early September

And we got to visit one of Annie's great-grandmas. I really hope we can visit great-grandma Boothman sometime!

We are so thankful that Annie slept a lot in the car during our long drives on this trip! Praise God! That is something that happened only very rarely before this trip...

The ponies were a huge hit!

Annie likes 'driving'

She has one baby on her back and one in the stroller.

And here, for some reason, are more pictures from my birthday time in Pensacola. I'm not sure why they are split up...
