Cousin Carrie came to visit from D.C. in February, which was a wonderful visit! We had a delightful time, played rook, and even took a trip to the beach!
Annie learns to drink tea from a big-kid-style cup. She was really good at it, for a beginner, but unfortunately we don't have a plastic mug, so we haven't tried this again for a while. She does, however, like to take sips of my tea.
Paula came to visit in early March with the two girls while Josh was away on an out-of-town school trip. We had a very enjoyable long weekend with Paula and the kids. Annie had a wonderful time too, and for several days following the trip, I think she still expected to find them in their room. We were sad when they were gone!

Not long ago, I think it was last weekend, we decided to go to the beach.
We found this shell, which had two other little tiny shells in it.
