This weekend I celebrated my birthday! We ended up having a great time with Paula, Josh, Camilla and Beatrice on Saturday. They made it all the way from Pensacola, which was a huge blessing for us! Thanks guys! We made sushi for lunch and had some of Josh's gourmet burgers for dinner, which were very tasty and perfectly cooked (thanks, Tim!).
We also had the chance to play Rook when all 3 of the children were napping at the same time. That was really fun.
For breakfast on my birthday, we had German breakfast (bread, cheese and cold-cuts with tasty european butter. Yum!) We also had organic milk as a special treat!
Annie likes smiling at her daddy!
These are in reverse order, but oh well. Here I am after blowing out my candles...realizing that they are just going to keep coming back to flame. Trick candles...
Paula brought decorations with her to make it festive!
Paula also made this delicious almond-chocolate (chiffon?) cake. It was delectable. Thanks, Paula!
Paula with baby Beatrice, who is a very smiley little girl!
Camilla was very nice to Annie, who really like her a lot!
Tim with Beatrice. She was very pleasant!
Annie has 5 teeth, and one more about to come up on the bottom, I think!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HIL!
Also, it looks like we have the same video monitor. Thought I'd never own one, but now I don't know what I'd do without mine. Miss you!
Happy Birthday!
Ich liebe die Deutsch Frühstück Fotos. Alles Gute zum Geburtstag Schwesterchen.

Thanks for posting all the pictures and a belated happy birthday! Leave it to Paula to bring decorations with her :) I love it. I also think the last picture of you showing off Annie's teeth is great! What an amenable baby :)
